Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your work different from other photographers?
Photography for me is about the connection and experience. I believe your story is uniquely crafted when being captured. Your story is beautiful, it is a work of art, and it matters. Inspired by authenticity, warm and moody tones, and honest imagery, I always try to fill my images with that approach. I strive to create natural moments that capture the unique beauty and romance of both your wedding day and what makes your story unforgettable for years to come.
What photography style do you offer?
Natural, Honest, Portraiture, Intimate, Lifestyle, Documentary
Do you have a list of preferred vendors?
I sure do! From wedding coordinators to florists and dj’s, I have worked with some of the best companies in the wedding industry and would be happy to share their information with you.
How many photographers will there be?
All of my collections include one photographer. You have the choice to add one to your package, however, I don’t find it necessary. I can ensure you that every beautiful moment and every in-between moment is captured. Specifically for weddings, I send a photo checklist for every detail that can be expected from me and you can make special requests for things that are significant to you.
What happens if it rains?
As a true professional I adapt and flow with any event that may happen on the day, including bad weather. I always have alternate locations at the ready for our location shoots and wedding days. Wet weather can also be a blessing as we find that the rain really brings out the colors in the landscape and can provide some amazing reflections. I always do my best to prepare ahead of time.
What equipment do you use?
I use professional digital cameras and lenses from Canon. I always carry both backup cameras and lenses as well as extra memory cards, flashes, batteries, etc. My gear is regularly maintained and updated all to ensure you receive stunning photographs.
What happens if you're unable to photograph my event?
One of the great things about using my service is I have connections to other photographers who match my style that I can call as a back-up. I will send in the photographer that’s available for the replacement.
When should we book?
Some dates and months are more popular than others, so it’s best to book as far ahead as you can to avoid disappointment. Many client’s book within 6 months or less for portraiture sessions and from 6-12 months for weddings. This also will include a booking fee or deposit dependent on the type of service needed.
How do we reserve our event date?
A deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your event on the calendar. An invoice will be created based on your preferred package and will be sent to you before making any payment(s). You can do a payment plan or pay in full.
Do you have recommendations for locations?
I have a bucket load of ideas for locations. From intimate corners in the city to country landscapes. From ultra modern to iconic and historical views. I always love finding the best location(s) for you to ensure it’ll be an experience you’ll never forget!
